A PENSIONER died after falling onto a bathroom floor, an inquest has heard.
Leonard Privett, 88, was found “in a confused state” after suffering the fall on Wednesday, March 27.
Last Tuesday, area coroner for Essex Michelle Brown opened an inquest into Mr Privett’s death.
A CT scan conducted after the fall showed bilateral subdural haematoma, Mrs Brown said.
Mr Privett then suffered two further seizures and his condition continued to deteriorate.
Mrs Brown concluded the opening by saying Mr Privett’s death was confirmed at Colchester Hospital in the early hours of Wednesday, April 3.
A provisional cause of death was given as intracranial haemorrhage and fraility.
